Is Charlotte's rugby football club better than its American football club?

Well theyre hoping to win their first game ever this year. I think they can win more than one after completely overhauling the team in the off-season adding several USA Eagles to the team.

Anthem are a unique team. They were formed last year in an historic partnership between the MLR, USA Rugby and World Rugby. World Rugby is partially funding the team.

The team is mostly entirely made up of American and USA qualified members meant to further the development of the US Men's National Team.

They're every fans second favorite team in the league other than your own and the underdog story for this season.

Go Old Glory.

Also, there is a lot of high quality rugby available worldwide right now. NZ/AUS just kicked off their domestic leagues, and we in mid-swing of Six Nations.

Nola Gold going to do their usual again?

Come in with hype and a talented roster. Only to barely miss/make the playoffs and sorely disappoint due to mental mistakes and poor discipline.

Anyone heard any news of when they are going to transform Zephyr field into that sports complex?

It’d be nice to have an actual pitch instead of a baseball field.

Sometime in the next six years I'd imagine. During the off season they released an ambitious seven year plan leading up to the Rugby World Cup hosted here in America called Vision 31.

They had this cool looking rendering that they showed.

Watching the Gold vs Anthem since I missed it last night. Love the production quality. Anthem was completely outmatched. Don’t know how much it really says about the Gold.

Agreed the production quality was really good. It's been getting better each year but I think the deal with ESPN solidified it.

I really liked those kits NOLA had on last night and I think on the broadcast I heard them say the pitch was new too? It certainly looked it, it looked really good.

I don't think you can take to much over the win over Anthem but NOLA got the W and that's important. There's always the most improvement from week one to week two so it'd be nice to see them carry over this momentum.

Game of the week San Diego vs Seattle getting ready to kick off at 4pm Central in just a few minutes. The big rivalry game in the Western Conference.

Btw, for those without ESPN+, the GOLD games are also on Gulf Coast Sports Network, same as Pelicans
