Better Business Bureau...a legit business or scam to sell "accreditation"

Anybody here have any experience with the BBB?
The whole accreditation subscription annual fees seems to be a scam. I use the word "scam" loosely as not really scamming someone through fraud etc

Seems like bullshite in 2025 when information can be disseminated so quickly. I can see the value 30 or 40 years ago

It’s a total scam and means nothing.

Carshield had to pay a 10 million dollar settlement last year for deceptive trade practices yet it has a great BBB rating.

Complete scam. They rate any and all businesses regardless of your membership with them and post any complaint they receive. They have zero over sight.
