What should be done with DOGE savings?

Set up an escrow account for future "emergency" needs?
Use it as a cudgel to convince congress to cut spending?
The good news about the executive reining in spending that fall into the "waste, fraud and abuse" category is it has a direct healing quality on inflation.
Inflation is caused by too many dollars chasing too few goods.
If DOGE can escrow 1 trillion dollars that's one less trillion dollars chasing goods and services. That has deflationary consequences. This is awesome for the regular baws and bawdetts with families.
And if Congress refuses to pass a budget and just rolls with the CR with a COLA attached like they have been doing since 2008, just place all that spending into an escrow account as congress continues to fund "waste, fraud and abuse" categories.

I think what you mean is, keep the Federal Reserve from printing more money to service debt due.
Regardless this has a deflationary impact. It removes dollars from the economy, which needs to happen.

I am pretty sure that our government operates 12 months at a time.
Or 3 months, then 9 months.
Or 3 months then 3 months then 6 months like this FY.
There is no "DOGE Savings Pile of Scrilla" that is left at the end of the day.
Best case is the waste, fraud, and abuse is exposed and then next month when Congress gets together to write a 6 mo CR and next September when they get together to maybe write a budget for the first time in decades they merely spend less money.
That is what the DOGE counter means on the DEBT CLOCK website. It isn't a literal pile of cash, it is the total amount they have deemed WFA and if cut the American people would save next FY.
That is my uneducated understanding of the matter.

Nothing. It just lowers the deficit.
Unfortunately, this country can’t afford tax cuts if we ever want to pay off debt.
Knowing Republicans, we’ll cut taxes significantly and keep the deficit exactly where it is despite the massive spending cuts from DOGE.
