I mean bad Super Bowl and bad halftime show on purpose?
Or done on purpose to throw everyone off their trail?
Which do you think it is?
I’ll hang up and listen/read.
PS: I’m starting to believe after hearing evidence

America got everything it wanted last night. I watched the bloodletting until the final play. It was glorious.

That nonsense OPI on the Eagles first drive tho

Yeah that could have really brought out the conspiratists — which it probably did — but I was busy enjoying the game.

Someone said the NFL went so far our of their way to prove it wasn't rigged that it looked rigged the other way.
At one point the Eagles had more points than Chiefs had yards. They had 38 at the half.

Oh so you’re thinking it was rigged in favor of the eagles? I see.

There were certainly times where I felt that too.

You can't ever stop a full on blowout. No matter if you believe in conspiracies or not
There will ALWAYS be favorable calls to superstars, just like there will always be some guys who "beg" for calls in big games and never get them based on reputation (like James Harden). Mahomes has been the face of the NFL for the last 3-5 years, so he is protected more than others.
I think we will move on from him a bit now. Not saying he is done or anything, but their offense looked terrible all night last night. They need OL help (like almost all NFL teams), and they need some WRs who can win routs and a gameplan to get the ball out

It didn't take 5 minutes for the Chiefs to get a fricking gift from the zebras.
Not much conspiracy there. The Eagles were just that much better to where it literally didn't matter.

That game was the result of one team being better at almost every position on the field. I don’t think it’s rigged per se, but I think we can all acknowledge Buffalo was a better team than KC and that game was absolutely influenced by referee decisions.
This game couldn’t have been because the Eagles were just pummeling KC on both sides of the ball.

Hard to rig a game where the other team is totally outclassed in every facet.
But to pretend like KC didn't receive timely help from the refs in what felt like 100% of their close games this year is ridiculous. There's a reason pretty much everyone was in agreement over it. Very obvious, and bad for football.

How much better than KC was Buff? Like Eagles better?

And potentially Houston.
Should probably have been Houston/Buffalo in the AFC with Buffalo likely winning

The NFL reacted to players and fans criticism of Mahomes getting allowed to wear a skirt of protection by the refs.
The Eagles came after Mahomes and the NFL stepped aside. Mahomes looked human. Superman got his cape tugged and the NFL allowed it.

Ehh, that Houston game definitely should have been closer but Stroud regressed pretty badly over the back half once Dell went down.
KC was absolutely the worst out of Buffalo, Baltimore and KC though. They got a ton of very opportune calls throughout the year to land that #1 seed and avoid a Baltimore showdown in the Divisional round.

So why would the NFL rig up KC to beat Houston and Buffalo only to get run by Philly?
Posted on 2/10/25 at 9:49 am to theballguy
If I thought the NFL was rigged, I would be wondering why an OLine that was in theory at least better than the Rams or Commanders OLines played so much worse against the Eagles than those other two teams' OLines did.
Would be a lot easier to pay a couple of OLinemen to throw a single big game than to pay every single ref in the league.

Maybe the NFL feels it needs to control all aspects of the fix.

You don’t think the league heard everyone talking about the refs and Chiefs in that Houston and Buffalo game? They’re not stupid. Even if it was rigged until last night, it was obvious VERY early on that the Chiefs were outclassed at pretty much every position. You’d need some Donaghy level interference to influence that arse whipping.

Because at some point, the refs can't stop a far superior team from beating the shite out of the not so great team.
