This has been on my mind lately from a severe annoyance standpoint.

I didn’t know this was defined so thank you.

That continental style drives me nuts. It’s always used by the most pretentious pseudo intellectual types.

I'm American. I use the American style.

No matter how you hold the fork, you're still essentially shoveling food in your mouth. Either upside down or rightside up...

I’ll do both at times. Americans who act like they are some sort of super refined Continentals because they use the “European style” are kinda the worst, though.

I do like Benny Hill explained on his show.

I eat my peas with honey

I hold my fork Continental Style when I eat steaks. You wouldn’t know anything about that. Probably grasp the handle into your fist and hold it tight like a child.
