What's the Official Reason (Excuse?) Why the Senate Hasn't Voted On Bobby, Tulsi, & Kash?

I know they delayed the vote on Kash Patel today. I didn't hear anything regarding either RFK, Jr. or Tulsi Gabbard.

Is this delay one more indication that the USAID firestorm has turned Washington upside down? These votes should've been taken by now.

Is it possible that there's some reason other than the USAID controversy that's behind this?

Any thoughts?

Democrats are trying to flip some Republican bitches. They need more time.

They also need more time to create another Christine Blaise Ford or Anita Hill.

After the comittee does an interview the Dems have the right for 30 hours of debate.

Only 1 person can go through the 30 hour process at a time.

So the Senate has been in session for over 30 hours.

Once the OMB has been voted on, they will move to the next nominee.

John Thune is a puss. And there are still plenty of RINOs in the Senate.

It’s why Grassley said it would be 178 hours before they could do a vote on Kash.

Although that may prove to be true, he’s not the one holding it up

Interesting point. They tried a last-minute smear campaign against Pete Hegseth, but fortunately it didn't work.

One thing that concerns me is that Republicans control the Senate. Thune is a scumbag, but why can't he just push this thru? I believe he's voting for everybody.

It was 4 days between Hegseth making it out of committee to getting confirmed. Monday to Friday.

RFK and Tulsi made it out of committee 2 days ago, on Tuesday. These things just take time.

I agree. But in this instance he can’t really do anything about it. It’s just the rules of the senate.

When republicans are in the minority they typically wave the 30 hour rule.

Thanks for the information.

The need to just skip the vote. Do it tonight. Put him in charge tonight. Don't wait.

Well that is what my impatient butt wants. Might be more prudent to go through the process just to make it look less like a "coup" lol

If he is voted down Trump needs to give them the bird.

Almost seems like Marsha Blackburn is the only one with a set of balls.

Maybe Lion Ted.

They were caught off guard on the USAID audit. They know once Kash takes office the shite hits the fan.

I will never pay another fricking vent in taxes until they take these peoples assets and prosecute them. frick this government. We have a right under the constitution to overthrow this bullshite!

30 hours of floor debate. Typically 1 senator per hour will stand and debate for the next 30 hours.

Problem is, no one is debating. They left the chambers, which means Thune can call an end to it and set a confirmation vote.
