I don't think Trump will send boots on the ground.
This is a negotiation tactic, IMO.
Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, etc. do NOT want any Palestinians. Trump just created leverage for the United States to go into negotiations. Either take on some of these refugees and help rebuild Gaza or STFU, we will do it.
ETA: I also think it is a tactic to use against Israel as much as it is against the Arab countries.

I'm pretty sure all inhabitants would be relocated and Trump did not commit any military. He is always throwing out big ideas so could easily negotiate the temporary relocation, have Israel provide protection and contract the rebuild with upside for the US.

I don't know the specifics, but to me it's as easy as this. Not one American boot on the ground and not one copper penny to be spent. If either of those 2 are broken then it's fricking stupid.

Rand Paul once again showing his true anti-Trump default position. Trump did not commit one US boot on the ground, nor did he commit a single US dollar to rebuild Gaza.

Trump has always acted like he does not want to get a single American soldier killed. We know he is very anti-war. I think he will be very very hesitant about sending troops. I don't think he will.

I hope this is some negotiation tactic because on the surface it goes against everything he ran on and what we voted for. Make no sense and he will have an internal pushback if this goes any further.
