Trading old for young almost never works

And maybe NBA teams are finally learning (outside the Dallas idiot), since no one seems to want Jimmy.
But just look at history:
Durant deal - Brooklyn fleeced Phoenix
Harden deal - Houston fleeced Brooklyn
Paul George - OKC destroyed the Clippers
Rudy Gobert - I still think Utah won this trade although it will depend on what Ainge does and how fast Rudy falls off
Lillard - Not sure that Portland got that great of assets but trading for an old Lillard was not a good move for Milwaukee
Dejountae Murray - Not popular but I hate this trade and wish we still had Daniels even before the injury to Murray
Then you have stupid FA signings for washed up dudes like George and Anthony, Lowry, etc.
I think the evidence is clear that signing older guys to huge money is extremely risky especially as trade targets or FAs.

There have been several teams that have tried to trade for Jimmy, but Butler has been blowing those deals up trying to force his way to Phoenix.
He blew up a deal to the Warriors for instance

Whoever trades for Butler will lose the trade. I don't really even care what compensation they give up.

I wouldn’t say that. We just mismanaged the package. It was a good enough package. Griff is just a retard overall.

Murray is in his 20s. This thought process is retarded
