Specifically looking for more songs like the last minute of this song.

Literally from 10:35-11:54. The build up and crescendo into the clear and slow guitar notes with the subtle but powerful organ (? not sure what instrument it is but sounds like an organ)

Anyone got a band or song that has something similar?

Been listening to a lot of JGB and Dead but haven't heard anything similar to that final minute.

A little different, but this is one of the great Hammond players jamming for 30 minutes:

that is Melvin Seals on the Hammond B3 “church organ”. Obviously any show from that era of the JGB will have more of the same.

Other players you might like include john medeski, booker T Jones, Greg allman, billy Preston, etc

Local (NOLA) john papa Gros is also a B3 savant

thanks fine folks.

Chatgpt helped me out too. crazy what that thing can do.

Probably gonna dig into Legion of Mary and then hit these other folks.

The part about the organ i like in the JGB cover is the subtleness. I don't love it front and center as much, but the tone in that minute in a half with the garcia guitar is really nice. one of those where i wish that would go on for another 5 minutes.

You would probably like a lot of early Van Morrison stuff.

The guitar notes alone sound a lot like some of Pat Metheny's stuff. LINK

You should go down a rabbit hole of the following musical collaborations: Pure Jerry series (w/ Merle Saunders), Legion of Mary, and the various Live Garcia releases - Jerry Garcia Band. If you have Spotify, it's all there for the listening

killer jazzy solos with horns
