His choice as SOS was interesting to say the least when he had previously sided with McCain, Graham, McConnell, Romney, etc, etc.

48 vCPUs are throttled curating the USAID grant network for every single EIN, will take a while (~12 hours). Which is fine, it gives
@watilo
time to prettify it in the morning.

Blame the federal government for creating such computational complexity.

But here's a teaser - this is what the network for Defending Democracy Together Institute looks like. The graph represents grants from various USAID-affliated NGOs flowing to Kristol's non-profit.

I noted he wasn't talking about completely shutting down with it being made a part of State. His tone and demeanor seemed a little off.

She pointed out on X that the International Republican Institute and the International Democratic Institute received nearly identical amounts in grants. It seems those are the congressional honeypots for each party.

SENATE honeypots

ETA: U.S. House has their own USAID honeypot. So do non-elected bureaucrats.

We’ve only just begun.

So I took the NP directly in the flow to the left of Kristol’s group.

That’s the Hopewell Fund. The Hopewell fund has hundreds of millions in revenue a year. It’s an explicitly Democratic organization giving money to explicitly Democratic (the party not the idea) causes. Why would they give $2M to Kristol and his butch lesbian Never Trumper director of DDI?

For scale, that’s roughly half of what DDI would take in during a normal year.

Rubio was “recommended” by some people who like him. Not so much interesting as it is typical. The “big donors” are going to make demands. They will get some of their guys in power positions. I support Trump 100% btw and realize he wouldn’t be a viable candidate if he didn’t have powerful backers. Just saying.

quote:

JTA — Miriam Adelson has delivered on a pledge she reportedly made at the start of the general election season, donating $100 million to a campaign committee supporting the candidacy of Donald Trump, according to disclosures filed Tuesday with the Federal Election Commission. The money was distributed to Adelson’s super PAC, Preserve America, which she had seeded earlier this year with $5 million, in a series of installments: $25 million a month in July, August and September and an additional $20 million at the end of September. A major funder of pro-Israel politics and a prolific donor to Jewish causes, Adelson, 79, is carrying on a legacy she built with her late husband, casino magnate Sheldon Adelson. The Adelson family has long been one of the largest sources of campaign money for Republican candidates and has backed Trump during each of the last three general elections. Now, the widow is wielding an estimated net worth of $35 billion on her own.

quote:

Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) is a lead sponsor of the legislation, which failed to pass in an earlier form introduced by Rubio and a bipartisan coalition that included Democrats such as Bob Menendez of New Jersey, Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Ben Cardin of Maryland. The bill would also codify a 2016 deal between the Obama administration and the Netanyahu government guaranteeing Israel $38 billion in ?“security” assistance over 10 years
