I like Luka… but last year in the finals he had the worst defensive showing ever for a NBA superstar… plus he refuse to get in shape… Nico was at NIKE for decades he dealt with Jordan Kobe, LeBron, etc. Those guys went above and beyond to be in shape and on the court…

LeBron will teach Luka the ways of the GOAT.

It will do wonders for his conditioning.

Well they also lost big lively and all sort of other guys have been out too. Also Dinwiddie has taken a lot of his minutes and he maybe even worst than Luka on D.

The trade will really hurt them on offense. They have almost no play making now. Outside of Irving who is not a great playmaker.

Luka got them so many easy baskets at the rim and wide open looks from 3.

Luka Doncic is 25 yrs old and averaged 34/9/9 last year. My God. Why is no one impressed with that? So he’s not The Glove. I get it. But man, the trade off you get is crazy worth it.

You do realize that Celtics team last year was a top 10 team in NBA history don’t you?

And for all the problems he caused with other teams, while in Dallas he's been quiet off the court.

Does this change now? Is he going to demand a trade and try to get another ring before he retires?

The Celtics picked on Luka. They beat them in 5 games WITHOUT Porzingis.

Luka likely wasn’t going to lead Dallas to a championship. Your best player can’t be the worst player on the floor defensively.

Luka was playing pretty good defense in the playoffs before getting injured during the playoff run. Porzingis also played and started the first 3 games of the 5 game Finals series. Did you even watch or are you just spouting off?

Let me answer….he’s spouting off.

ETA: Last year in the Playoffs, the Clippers, Thunder, and Timberwolves were ALL favored over the Mavericks. None of those series even made it to 7 games. Many people said Luka would “never” make The Finals. He did. Step by step, he’s getting there. Dude is only 25.
