That’s true. Wade is great, but LSU could even bring in someone better if we made the right hire. Our brand and SEC basketball is at an all time high right now. And we have a storied history with our program that few in the SEC have. With NIL now you can turn around a program so quickly.

I have a great idea for a new BBall HC. Dude constantly makes the tourney, has a long history of winning everywhere, knows the state of LA, has proven himself in SEC basketball, and has charisma and can inject enthusiasm and optimism into a dejected and bored fanbase, and he’s looking to move back into a major conference right now! Sounds like a great catch for LSU right? Yea it’s Wade

LSU men's basketball season can not end soon enough. I would like to think that it going to get better but I know it is not. I think we need a change but not sure what that change would be.

Alt, I know we both give facts and also poke the bear for these fans.

There is no reason we can't bring back tPear outside of ego.

I’m sorry sir. He paid players and lied to the AD about paying players….

“Oh, please make sure you donate to Bayou Traditions so we can pay players.”

Sincerely,

The LSU athletic department

I think it would work, and most would feel OK about this.....BUT....the NCAA would retaliate! They obviously made a deal to leave the football program alone if WW was removed, IMO. The all but ignored the Vidal Alexander OLOL scandal if you recall...

WW does not like LSU after what went down. This is from someone inside his department. You can believe or you can call bullshite. I really don’t care which way you lean because it’s something I cannot prove. But you have to be a special kind of moron to think he would come back to the place that fired him

Or maybe he just wouldn't want to come back. Everyone acts like Wade would be on his hands and knees trying to crawl back to LSU if given the chance. That may very well be true, but no one outside of Frank Williams Wade knows the answer to that question.

He would drag his nuts over a mile of broken glass to get back to LSU.

This is only partly true, while he is extremely salty about how everything went down, he still has fondness for several individuals inside the athletic department and stays in close touch with them. Whether or not he would come back if asked, only WW knows that.

I definitely would like to have his energy and recruiting (especially in the NIL era).

My one concern is what another poster said, would the corrupt NCAA retaliate?

They have no power anymore. Threaten to take them to court and they will back down every time. Nothing they do stands up in court.

It is 100% true and it cracks him up that people keep holding on to the idea he would come back. Again, there is no reason to believe me but I know what I know.
