The wall ads are up and are all white letters on green wall. Looks much neater than the multicolored ads of the past, IMO.

The outfield wall is slightly higher than last year.

are we pitching Anderson and Eyanson at the same to so they’re both ready to start opening day?

It seems like Anderson and Eyanson are definitely being worked for an opening day start, maybe even Guidry. Whoever doesn't start on opening day could be first in relief or get an extra day of rest for Saturday. Ware and Evans will probably also be ready for opening day innings or an extra day of rest.

I'm guessing we see the next wave of Shores, Cowan, and Schmidt tomorrow to be ready for a Saturday start or extended relief innings or an extra day of rest.

He may spread them apart some next weekend.

We play 7 games in the first 10 days before hitting the road to Globe Life and Frisco, so we will need to have alot of arms ready to roll.

The leadoff spot is also interesting to watch. He seems to be looking at Stanfield, Curiel, and Dickinson there. I think we may see him look at Braswell, Larson, and Brown there, too. And, we'll probably see Jones and Milam there in season. I like Jones/Milam or Milam/Jones sequenced anywhere at the top (1/2, 2/3, or 3/4).

Jay would traditionally go R/L as much as he could throughout the lineup. But, he may want to protect Jones with another RH or SH to keep teams from pitching around Jones, especially late in games, to go to a L on L matchup. Just something else interesting to watch. I believe the leadoff spot, 9 hole, and who surrounds Jones will be very important in this lineup.

It was Guidry's worse outing. He definitely had some control issues yesterday.

One thing I really like about Anderson is he doesn't seem to have many bad days or bad innings for that matter.

The hitting was better than the stats indicated. The wind knocked a couple down at the wall and there were other well hit balls that went straight into gloves. Larson in particular had some hard hits that didn't find grass.

Eyanson was on everyone's radar when we signed him, but I think it was DRock that said we should be talking about him more. If that was you DRock, good call. It's looking like he will be the favorite to get the Saturday role.

Right now, Ware is one of our top three pitchers, but I think he is still destined for the Herring role. Shores is still coming into form. My guess is he is possibly our Sunday guy with a short leash.

Also it appeared that Guidry and Anderson both didn't throw fastballs for the first almost 2 innings. Looked like they were just working with their other pitches until they both started mixing fastballs into their pitch sequence and became more effective.

Agree that the hitting looked better than reported due to wind and lots of shots hit right to defenders. There were a couple of balls that would have likely exited the park if not for the wind knocking them down and quite a few hit to the warning track.

Cade Anderson is going to have a fantastic season in whichever role he has.
