Trump needs to demand change at state and local level. DOGE for everyone.

Trump should withhold all federal funds to state and local governments until they implement their own version of DOGE. There is just as much waste and corruption there. I have never met a government employee worth their pay. Throw them all to the curb and privatize as much as possible. It's much easier to pull an underperforming contractor than a government employee.

No, Trump does not need to micromanage all 50 states. There are enough circumstances warranting his involvement as it is (ie CA fires), he doesn't need to micromanage state budgets.

Agreed. I was recently looking around town and at our previously beautiful city park and was disgusted by the disrepair and lack of upkeep despite having plenty of full time employees to maintain things. Most days they don't work at all. It's dropped off as our last mayor used them in the oil fields, and the new one is trying, but old habits die hard and the city council is full of dipshits.

You’ve never met a teacher, professor, cop, firemen, soldier, librarian, EMT, worth their pay? You don’t think anyone at LSU is worth their pay? This says more about you than anything.

Most paramedics/EMT work for private companies. Firemen are quite efficient and would likely do just fine privatized. Cops are revenue agents first and foremost. Something the founding fathers were absolutely against. Most are just roided up, tatted up, psychopaths. Good riddance. The founding fathers gave us the 2nd Amendment in the Bill of Rights. They didn't give of us cops. That should tell you something. Stop being a tittie baby and wanting the government to protect you.

What you suggest makes a mockery of the concept of federalism. Why not have Trump also just select governors as well? What you suggest borders on totalitarianism and real federal tyranny.
