Sharpton revealed in a speech outside the store that he'd bought 100 $25 gift vouchers for each buy in participant to spend inside.

'We’re going shopping at Costco because they’ve stood with us. People that stand with us, we will stand with them,' he said.

But the move has been sharply criticized online due to Sharpton's divisive reputation. Some critics called his involvement as the 'kiss of death' for Costco.

quote:

As a life long customer when Rev Al Sharpton is using you as Liberal Party tool I am done with you. Sharpton is the kiss of death,' another added.

Others said they would now boycott the retailer - such as the infamous boycott of Bud Light after their partnership with trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney - due to their disappointment in Costco aligning itself with Sharpton.

quote:

'I wonder how much they love Al Sharpton now that they’re getting bud lighted. I’m cancelling my memberships auto renewal this week and won’t be shopping there again,' one critic said.

'If Al Sharpton shows up, you’re most definitely on the wrong side of history,' another said, while a third described him as a 'chaos agent.'

Notice they don’t have shite in their hands.
If it wasn’t Rev Al, staff would be following them around if you know what I’m saying

What a shite move by Sharpton. A $25 gift card doesn’t buy much at Costco.

I love Costco. Their staff is always more than competent and friendly. You can tell they’re treated well.

Their travel team is fantastic. I’m never put on hold to wait for someone to answer. The agents are stateside and English is their first language. They always take care of my needs in one call with no mistakes.

Who keeps their gloves on inside with a tightly wrapped scarf?

I’m claiming to be an expert because we had record snow in New Orleans:)

Was it a donation or a business expense?

He should have to show it to the IRS, eh?

Oh. that's right. He already owes them hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Oh, true, never thought of that. Don't you have to be a member to use vouchers?

Can you imagine going into a COSTCO with that group with only $25 each to spend? Not enough for a cart or basket. The fellow with the big head and shriveled ears is no longer who he thought he was.

Costco should have taken every necessary action to prevent themselves from being associated with Sharpton in any way.

America is fed up with that race pimping piece of shite.
