I had it for lunch today, for the first time. There is no way anyone can honestly believe that this is the best pizza in Baton Rouge. This slop was on par with domino's.

Its nothing like it used to be.

New management took over a few years back and it hasn't been the same since

It's good, but overrated.

For the value, nothing beats Whole Foods pizza.

I freaking love Fleur de Lis because it has thin crust, square shapes, small sized slices and is light on the tomato gunk and cheese. Especially an Around the World, hold the anchovies.

whole foods pizza is really good. 2 slices for five dollars is a good deal.

There is a place out here in Central called Fox's Pizza Den, very good pizza. You can get a 24x12 loaded pie for $23.00

The only pizza I really love from there is the vegetarian. Their use of banana peppers is good. However, I have had friends pizzas when they order traditional fast food pizza toppings such as just pepperoni and it definitely does not stack up.

Lately we have just been making them at home with all fresh ingredients. It is cheap and easy (especially if you get pre-made pizza dough).

i think its the best pizza place i've ever been to and i've been to many. it's just am atter of preference. some people like a wood burning stove with options like cucumbers and shite they can put on their pizza. all these pizza kitchen places, etc. i think all that stuff is fine, but it doesn't do anything for my soul. a large pepperoni and a beer from fleur de lis does.

Fox's is a chain?

I didn't realize that -- we have one here in GA, and it's pretty good. Too far of a drive for me to get pizza though.

Fleur started going downhill when they got rid of the ovens and the old blacked pans and went to the conveyor system they use today. SOmething about the aged pans that made the pizza the best.... It's still not bad and worth going to in rotation with other pizza places in town. My new favorite place is Whole Foods!!

Do yourself a favor and drive a few hours north to the Sicilian section of the twin Cities - Monroe and West Monroe - and get yourself a Johnny's Pizza.

The name is just a tad cliche'...gosh, I wonder what they hang up on the walls.
