I sat out of tournament fishing for 2-3 years. When I got back in the game, pretty much every baw showing up to the boat ramp was wearing HUK gear. Had never heard of it.

Same with FR baws. Got into the office for 5-6 years then started going back out in the field. Ariat pretty much had a monopoly on FR gear. Had never heard of them. Baws wearing designer Ariat gear to church now.

What you got OT? Help BabyTac understand how brands come into already over saturated markets and completely take over? Boggles my mind.

Prime took over a the sports drink market for a hot minute. Fizzled some as of late.

It’s nasty anyway

Men are too stupid to realize that we get convinced by marketing the same way Taylor Swift lives in the head of chicks. SaltLife, the wildly overpriced Yeti fad, watch brands etc.

Did that guy call you back to sell you that truck you wanted to pay cash for?

Side convo, but yes. They dropped the price down to $52k a week and a half after our discussion. I saw his number show up twice on my phone then but didn’t answer. Had already accepted keeping the Tundra until 250k miles. The truck was gone a week later from the website.

Overpriced? Probably, certainly on some things.

But their stuff is absolutely high quality. Their backpack cooler is heads and shoulders better than the competition.

That’s a good one but honestly don’t know anyone who’s ever spent their own money on Yeti. They cornered the market on gifts.

I have two YETI coolers and countless coozies and cups as prizes or company gifts. Most people I know have gotten their YETI gear the same way. I honestly can’t say I know one person who spent their own money to get Yeti gear.
