President Trump had initially requested the Pentagon to deploy 10,000 Active-Duty Troops

I think folks are getting confused here. Trump was talking about the NG available for J6, and some reporter mistook it as him talking about the border.

I saw this live at his press conference.

Whoever "pushed back" needs to be fired and deported to Cuba.

He declared an emergency at the border. They should provide all means necessary.

Was this initial request for troops in the first 24 hours? Or is this in old story from the 1st admin recycled this week for clicks?

Either way, don't care. There is a border crisis, the media and Dems continue to lie that there isn't, so they can save face and pretend Trump has no idea what he's talking about.
