10 mph N wind
Breakfast blend coffee
My 16 year old and 13 year old are hunting and I am not. I dropped them off this am and came back to the camp. I sat with them yesterday evening and we saw 5 bucks but the ones they’re after showed up at a different stand. Hoping they can kill one or both the next couple of days. They’ve hunted hard for them all season.
If we could start the trump presidency with inauguration on Monday, big buck and snow on Tuesday that would be wild. Good luck everyone and God bless

Planning a noon-dark hunt. Hope they're moving in this snow.

Mathews phase 4
A combination of cold hands and wet phone screen kept me from posting this morning, but I was out there until 10:00. Hung my hybrid stand this morning(basically a small lock on) and sat in my saddle in it. Was going to make it an all day sit but my gloves, beanie, and neck gaiter were drenched. Heading to my buddy’s camp to dry clothes, then heading straight back to my tree.
Saw a 2.5 year old 8pt. He stayed in his thicket and fed around for a little, then bedded down. I have a feeling they’ll move this evening now that the snow has slacked off.

Back at it too. Got in my tree around 3 and I’ve seen deer pretty much nonstop since I got up. No racks yet though.
