I don’t get why they are moving this inauguration inside seems so weak

Like why is he doing this. It makes him look like such a weak President right from the start especially on a world wide and national basis. Who cares if it is cold out. Is it maybe he was thinking because of the cold the crowds would look light for optics maybe (I get that and maybe a smart move).
It could be a security threat we don’t know about.
Just feels weak to me.

It’s Trump’s decision. Maybe it’s too cold; maybe he doesn’t want to get shot.

Well if the left and their commie media hadn’t been trying to kill him we probably don’t move this inside.

On a flight heading to DC now to be a part of whatever is available for the general public. Doesn’t matter it got moved inside. Just happy for tomorrow and will be in vicinity of the city in order to be close to the moment.

Security - high alert - my daughter was in parade and they sent them home. Security risk.

There are serious threats of drone dirty bombs you moron. Factor that threat and the fact that Trump doesn't want people sitting out in 6 degree Washington DC weather for 8-10 hours is what we now call COMMON SENSE. Something this country has not had for the past 4 years.

Yea what a wimp. Can’t even face a bullet!!
Amazing there are people who don’t think Trump is very much in harms way

Its very suspect when they've had inaugurations in colder weather previously... Def seems like the cold is being used as an excuse due to a security threat.
Will be interesting to see if they still do the drive where he gets out and walks alongside the beast. If that is pulled, then you can almost guarantee it was security.

So why not do it in a fully different location. Sorry bomb would be bad inside or out am I correct? It’s just bad optics to start this way and that is an opinion not any type of fact.

no, it does not
a couple of things to consider
1. the threat of terrorist threats/attacks is very real
2. it will be very cold and uncomfortable out there
3. this will be the 1st inside inauguration since Reagan's 2nd term *
#3 is the biggie; my guess is that he would have done this in 2021 had his win not been stolen; he actually bought and used Reagan's campaign slogan ** (many still are unaware of this)
to me, it seems appropriate & given the fact that AT LEAST 2 attempts have been made on his life recently; it seems wise
* (Reagan getting inaugurated inside 1985)
** (Reagan campaign slogan)

I 1000% agree with the move but won't help much in this scenario will it?

Agree we need some younger Presidents and a younger congress next go around. They are all so fragile. It’s so bad we have to deal with as a country. Obama, Trump, Biden, Trump.
We can do better.
We can do better.

Well let's see - a few entry points where the public is not allowed compared to hundreds of entry points where 100 thousand is allowed.
If you can't see the difference then you are a fricking idiot

We did do better. We elected Trump. The people wanted Trump. Sorry Kamala lost

Yeah are we all still sure that whole thing was not a stage optics display in the first place. If it was not they definitely used it in such a way. Think of all those people selling that same t shirt with the fist raised. It’s so bad.

They aren’t letting the general public in. Nancy was good enough to put up a beautiful wall around the Capitol. It has a very large perimeter.

I can’t imagine doing a public event out in the open if I’m Trump. My skin would be crawling the whole time in expectation of the bullet.
He’s won his second term. Stay away from crowds.
