Nuss will be a top 3 pick next draft. He has all the tools for a HOF NFL career

He is legit, but will not be able to freestyle in the NFL like he did in college. Will need to tighten up his game.

Both are good. Both have faults right now. Nuss has the potential to be better depending on how he does in 2025.

Sanders holds the ball way too long. He would rather take a sack than take an incompletion. He has 40+ starts under his belt over the past 4 years. By comparison, Nuss has probably 15 starts. That said, Nuss has more starts against really good competition.

If I was a NFL GM, I am trading back out of #1 or I am take the Penn St. DE. I do not believe Sanders or Ward are franchise QBs.

No he doesnt. He has some of the tools and a few tools that are top tier such as great velocity on his throws and great accuracy WHEN he steps into throws. His upside is good, as some of his faults such as lack of pocket awareness and poor decision making in the run option can be fixed with experience starting. As compared to elite NFL prospects, he isn't very mobile, and he will have a tough time getting meaningful playing time in the NFL if he cant step into throws. Way too often he throws off his back foot for no reason and he doe it 90% of the time when under pressure.

The other thing he has going for him is he has shown he can improve. He wasn't as reckless as a starter, and he started to feel pressure somewhat and scramble for positive yards late in the year. Most impressively, he didn't go in the tank and ended up playing some of his best football after an awful 3-4 game stretch.

These are all NFL issues and are less important and/or can be overcome in college ball. Which is why I will be surprised if he isn't one of the best QB's in college football next year.

Probably not, but he's definitely better than Montana or Unitas.

Of course Montana is 68 and Unitas is dead.

Nuss is soft. Until he proves me wrong I’m sticking to my story. He’s a pretty boy that doesn’t like physical contact.

For comparison Burrow and Daniels valued protecting the ball over avoiding contact. If Nuss works on standing tall and delivering thru contact or running instead of forcing a bad ball he can be great. Until then he’s a shorter Myles Brennan.

I could see Nuss having the better longterm nfl potential.

No, I don't think Nuss is better... at this moment. They are close though.

You're not going to get an unbiased football answer on this site... The hate runs to deep when it comes to the Sanders/Colorado.
