Do people really believe this bullshite?
As if random people are in jail or prison for possession?
We all had friends and family get arrested for drugs growing up.
Did anyone really fear they'd actually get locked up?
These people are straight up drug dealers, or involved in other shite and plead down to drug charges.

If your state has a three strikes law like California or Alabama you can absolutely be in prison for a decade or more for three misdemeanors.

In fact we have the most people in prison for non-violent crimes than anywhere else in the world. But don't take my word for it do some research.
