Main Card

Islam Makhachev vs. Renato Moicano Title Fight
Merab Dvalishvili vs. Umar Nurmagomedov Title Fight
Jiri Prochazka vs. Jamahal Hill
Jailton Almeida vs. Serghei Spivac
Kevin Holland vs. Reinier de Ridder

Undercard

Bogdan Guskov vs. Billy Elekana
Payton Talbott vs. Raoni Barcelos
Zachary Reese vs. Azamat Bekoev
Grant Dawson vs. Diego Ferreira
Karol Rosa vs. Ailin Perez
Rinya Nakamura vs. Muin Gafurov
Ricky Turcios vs. Bernardo Sopai
Tagir Ulanbekov vs. Clayton Carpenter

Bad arse main card here, should be some entertaining scraps.

will Tsarukyan be the guy to take down Islam... I seriously doubt it but crazier things have happened. While Armans record is legit, the competition is not that strong. he barely beat charles, and many thought he lost.

umar vs merab is a hard one to judge. umar seems to be much more talented than merab overall, but will he be able to handle the wrestling and gas tank of merab. I want to see the faceoff because I believe umar is going to have a real size advantage. if that is true, I will have to lean umar these guys from that camp just always seem to win and handle everyones best shite.

hill vs jiri is another good banger. both guys trying to keep their current position to get knocked out by poatan again.

moicano vs beneil should be a fricking spectacular grappling match. beneil has struggled recently but with good strikers. it will be interesting to see him going against a guy that doesnt have the crazy ko power like arman and charles who he has lost back to back to. you have heard him say that it might be time to retire if he loses, so maybe he is checked out. I have become a big fan of Moicano everyone should check out his podcast with gilbert burns, very entertaining. one of the best in mma currently.

holland vs the newcomer. holland will continue gatekeeper status against this guy. the guy didnt look very great against a decent meeschart. so we will see. I expect Kevin to finish him.

quite a few decent names on the undercard

Absolute banger

Wish the commanders weren’t playing the same night. I’ll be at work but may buy it and just watch it on the computer lol

I’ve learned my lesson. Not betting against the Dags. And I think a healthy Hill gets a finish. He’s not as bad as he looked against Pereira

Hoping Jiri sends Hill back to the shadow realm. Can’t believe the odds on that one.

He’s probably been in training since he was 6 and been in a gym with khanib, Islam, sparring with his younger brother, 20 Dagestani killers that we’ve never heard off. I think he wins 49-46.

Hope this one can live up to its potential. Sometimes the cards that look amazing on paper turn out to be duds, and then some random Fight Night ends up being better.

MMA Guru was saying that he thinks Merab takes EPO. He was saying that Merab didn't really show that kind of cardio and gas tank before the Yan fight. Actually the number of takedowns that Merab shot in that fight was way over-the-top--it would be the performance you'd expect if someone actually was on PEDs.

MMA Guru was also saying that he thinks Jamahal will beat Jiri because Jiri doesn't keep his hands up / defend punches--as on display during his fights against Pereira. He thinks Jamahal will catch Jiri with a punch.

Holland has had trouble when he gets taken to the ground, and that's like de Ridder's bread-and-butter.

Money Moicano and Dariush are coming into this fight on completely opposite trajectories. Money Moicano on a tear his last few fights, Dariush getting wrecked his last few fights. Hard to see Dariush overcoming that.

Would be surprised if Islam doesn't win.

Rooting for Arman hard, but wouldn't ever bet against Islam. I think Islam gets a narrow decision. Arman is only 27 and he'll be champ one day.

I don’t think Islam took Arman seriously in their first fight, I think he’ll win another decision

Merab just seems slower than umar if we’re only judging the brief training clips

Agree to disagree. I thought he looked good against Costa and fought a nice technical fight

Yeah looked real good. I sat thru 5 rounds of this in the arena. And of course after he said they were going to have a fight to the death. Haha

I mean costa wasn’t exactly engaging either. I thought he kept him at distance well with those front kicks which he needed to because Costa is a killer and more athletic. And he walked him down and picked his shots when they were there. Plus he ended well.

Islam vs. Arman will be bittersweet regardless since I like both of these guys. If Arman can't beat him, then I can't see anyone doing it.

Umar and Jiri all day.
