Jack sawyer would be a good pick for DE outside the 1st round

Yeah, the Saints have been very reluctant to draft Ohio State guys.

So no Travis Hunter, Tetairoa McMillan, Luther Burden, Nic Scourton or Ashton Jeanty?

We have the least amount of draft picks since 2000 with 160. The next team has 178.. the Jets and Texans with 182. And we still suck at draft picks.

Of course not, but I do prefer guys that played big time college football. Seems Detroit and Philly load up on these guys

I doubt he's available after the first round.

Most mocks had him in mid 2nd

Lot will change after the combine.

Most of the best players in NFL history came from small schools. Your original premise is stupid.

I guess you didn’t really like that Drew Brees guy from Purdue, Marques Colston from Hofstra, Jahri Evans from Bloomsburg, or Jermon Bushrod from Towson, huh?

Oh and that Deuce McCallister guy form Ole Miss sucked too.

Every draft is pivotal and it seems we suck at it.

Yeah! The Saints need to look for a new QB at whatever school the Chiefs got their QB from!

And how likely is that? Even if you had the top pick in each round?
The Saints are in need of a major infusion of cheap, young talent. It can happen but expecting it all in one year? You’re going to be disappointed.

4 top 100 picks, so I would say your odds are better. Sure it's unlikely, but the first 2 (#8, #40) should absolutely be expected to pan out

Agreed. We need to make our 1st and 2nd round picks count and make sure they are absolute contributors. No shooting for the moon. We need two more picks like Fuaga and Kool-aid. People that will contribute from day 1.

No more Penning or Turner type picks.

We just need good players. Outside of Kamara and McCoy we don’t have any players that would be considered even close to elite at their positions. Fuaga could get up there and Olave is nice (albeit very shaky) but it’s pretty damn bare right now.
