A solider fell to the ground during President Jimmy Carter's funeral, and another solider dragged him away, as he seemed unresponsive. It happened during the motorcade arrival at the National Cathedral.

That’s not out of the ordinary

Although it does look a little odd

The fact no one responded immediately is so bizarre.

Really weird that nobody even flinched when it happened.

Or maybe it’s cool. I can’t decide.

Hopefully it's just a fainting spell. It happens.

That's a Marine and he probably locked his knees while standing at attention.

Is this an actual thing?

If so, can someone explain why?

Probably had his legs locked. But I'd imagine they are well trained for these types of events.
It looks like a Marine

You can practice it at home. Just stand at attention and lock the knees for a while.

It is very real. Something about the flow of blood I always heard.

I don’t understand why none of the other military members didn’t immediately raise the fainting marines legs above his head. Just drugged him off like he was KIA.
