Spring Game at Night

thats a good idea, I would go.

Having that thing at 5pm would be money. You would get all day tailgating and a much higher attendance imo.

I like the idea. It wouldn't be so damn hot either.

na, 7pm, give people a chance to finish a 3pm baseball game

It would most definately help. But until LSU starts caring about I doubt the fans will.

A 1:30pm baseball game and a 5pm Spring game would be nice. LSU needs to encourage tailgating and bring in many alumni

if they would have had that big kid rock show last year, i could have seen it adding another 10 people.

get brooks and dunn and all the rednecks from surrounding parishes will come.

what are you talking about? You guys dont like sitting in the sun with 90 degree weather, sweating it out to watch a practice game? ITs awesome

Penn State has a carnival like atmosphere. Even those that graduated years ago come back for the spring game every year. Several bands play, etc... University sells clothing, posters, drinks, etc...at the spring game and they make a lot of money from that - let alone highly encouraging all famous alumni to attend and they donate money.

highly doubtful. They don't really care too much about attenndance for that game, and promote/play it accordingly. It's not a money maker b/c of the dirt cheap tickets, lack of big tv money, big advertising money, etc. A huge turnout would just mean more money spent on cops, trash collection, staffing, security, etc.
