This is a lack of successful forestry practices.

Actually, I believe this is very normal. Seems to happen every year.

Oh I can't wait for all the filthy rich coming to cry about global disaster that their multi million dollar houses burned downed and how they are owed something.

Cant wait

Meanwhile they didn't even have water in fire hydrants. The only thing I've ever heard that is worse than what nola has with the pumps... FIRE HYDRANTS WITHOUT WATER?

More taxes for California should do the trick. Plus 30 dollar an hour minimum wage

I don’t know enough about CA to know if this is normal but I have my doubts.

Yes let this be a wake up call that democrats priorities are completely fricked, resulting in catastrophe, the loss of human life, and the destruction of a beautiful state.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit to hear them say they are moving from these woodlands that are inducive to wildfires to somewhere along the gulf coast.

Climate Change Crisis Nerds

please explain how the planet is 70% water, record rain fall this year in California and yet there is no water in fire hydrants to put out fires?

The 100 mph winds seem like a big wow, that's crazy, but I don't follow California's weather all that much, they live in the best year round climate in San Diego

It’s clear the crisis is a lack of leadership, planning & financial appropriations of taxpayer dollars.

This is definitely one of those situations where the attempted "fix" made things say worse. Unfortunately these types of people don't understand that simple concept.
