Good morning all you Matt McMahon sunshine pumpers

1.) I warned ya'll that he wasn't the guy to get us back to competing in the upper half of the SEC.
2.) I told ya'll he couldn't recruit elite talent.
3.) I told ya'll the preseason predictions were spot on.
Yet the majority thought I was a McMahon hater.
I ask ya'll to politely eat crow on this crisp January morning.
It's going to absolutely get worse so buckle up you Fighting McMahon followers.

You all were very quiet over the past couple of months. Welcome back. Us real fans never left. Glass half full. With what we have on the roster and what's coming in, we will be competitive very soon.

McMahon's pretty much out of time now barring an unreal string of wins, but people's thoughts prior to this season that a coach generally needs at least 3 years to prove anything when he inherited zero players, a massive cloud over the program, and a disinterested fanbase (due to what happened prior to CMM being hired) are totally valid. It's time to move on from McMahon and get someone that can fire this program up, but McMahon had to start from nothing here. It's unfortunate for CMM that his do or die year came when the SEC is this good, but that's how the cookie crumbles.

Wanting to win is now considered not being a fan. Think about how insane that is. Wanting to lose makes you a fan in modern LSU fandom. If that’s not the epitome of loser mentality.

Dudes will watch 10 minutes of a game once a season and tell you it’s all fine. Meanwhile you have the masochists that watch just about every game and not be the real fans.

I'm def sunshine pumper for football and baseball. Haven't really paid much attention to basketball since the general left. It was obvious this wasn't the guy. Ya don't get 3-5 years to show progress in CBB like ya do in CFB. Really haven't even seen flashes of success. Looks like he finished 9-9 in conference play last year. That's not terrible, but cmon, we just want to make the tourney, expectations are pretty low and you're not hitting them.
