Anthony Weaver

A good buddy of mine is a position coach in the league. He grew up in Louisiana and was a diehard Saints fan before he got into coaching. I asked who we should want to be the next head coach for the Saints, and without hesitation, he said Anthony Weaver.
He said there are more prominent names, but nobody wants the Saints job with the Cap situation and GM. He said Weaver is highly respected around the league, and everyone thinks of him as a Dan Campbell-type motivator that players love and respect.
He told me Weaver will be a head coach in the league within a couple of years, so if the Saints can bag him, it would be a big win.

Why don't you just call Loomis yourself Anthony weaver.

We’ve said this for 2 years when it was obvious DA had to go. The pumpers reminded us there are only 32 of these jobs in the world.
Reality is hitting them in the face with Ben Johnson not even returning Loomis calls and texts.
That said, Brady might take the gig if it’s his only offer but he’ll demand 7 years $60M and personnel control.
Loomis can’t afford a retread or complete unknown without losing 20,000 plus season ticket holders and suite renewals.
Dangerous times for the Saints remaining viable in NOLA if he botches this.

It's a 5 year rebuild, black coaches don't last 2 years in terrible organizations.

I think Loomis is a bigger issue than our cap situation as far as attracting coaches
His cap approach is beyond reckless at this point, he refuses to acknowledge the errors, instead defends them, and there's no one to hold him accountable because he's basically the de facto owner. Sometimes you only get 1 shot at these HC jobs, you may not want to take one where you have one hand tied behind your back and you'll be the one to blame when it fails. I can't really blame someone for wanting no part of this dysfunctional organization
