Meal Delivery Service

Anybody have any recommendations on any of those delivery services that send around 3 meals per week? Would be for one person and decent food but nothing too extravagant or over the top.
Thank you.
Thank you.

I've used Factor several times and always enjoyed them. I'll usually go for a month or two until I get burnt out on them (I get like 10-12 meals a week).
Their lowest is six though, and I'd be surprised if a big operation did 3. Even at 6 the price per meal is a bit high, so that's a drawback.

If you know someone with Blue Apron or any of the similar services, they can send you a code for a few free meals and possible discounts. We used every single meal service from friend referrals. It's fun for two people but for one person you can spread it across two meals. Hello Fresh is also popular.
If you go on YT you can probably find channels with sponsors that use these brands as their 60 second ads.

I've been using Hello Fresh for maybe 3(?) months now.
I've mostly had good experiences, but that is HIGHLY dependent on your area's nearest warehouse. I guess I have a good warehouse currently.
I also keep a decently stocked fridge/pantry, so as long as what is missing or bad is a staple (onion, garlic, mayo, sour cream, etc), I am not screwed like someone who doesn't have groceries would be.
Your satisfaction of whatever company you choose will be directly correlated to how often you've been screwed. Going to cook dinner and realizing something is missing or bad will turn you sour on a company real fast if you have to go out and buy a replacement or get takeout.
I've done several kinds, and HF has been the best so far.

We tried several years ago. The service is convenient enough but the amount of trash got old. Every little thing is individually packed and, at least at that time, everything came with freezer packs and the box it's all shipped in.

I did three meals weekly from Hello Fresh for a while and really enjoyed it. Only stopped due to traveling a lot

Serious Eats did a review of meal delivery services recently. Includes a few I've never heard of.

check around on facebook they usually have people that meal prep weekly locally and my guess is you get a better product.

We decided to go with Factor for my in laws and they get 8 meals a week for the two of them. They say they have liked them but that the portion size is not what they are used to (small). I think they have gotten in the habit of having a salad with their meal. We were going to give it a try but the price is really high. This last week was $140 which comes out to $17.50 a meal. That’s really high for a small serving. Worth it for the convenience but I think I would prefer to cook for now.
