Pitcher Deven Sheerin hurt?

Without sounding like a smart arse, I think this is old news. Pretty sure it happened in late summer and don't think he pitched at all in the fall.

It was either late summer or early fall if remember correctly. He didn't have any appearances that I remember in the fall games that they released the stats from

Thanks for the update guys. I just didn't remember hearing him getting hurt, then again my wife says my listening skills are lacking! Sucks because I was really looking forward to seeing him pitch.This post was edited on 1/7/25 at 8:38 am

Jay has already discussed it and the plans to redshirt him
He held out hope that he might be ready at some point during season but decision was made to redshirt and will be ready to go 2026 season as he is not draft eligible

It was reported on officially during fall ball. The unofficial reporting on here was right around the injury. I think by the time fall ball rolled around, it wasn't talked about as much, even though the official word came out then. Because the normal group of people that would discuss that had already known for a while.
All of that is to say that it was very easy to miss the news.

Woods had a decent fall. Some control issues still but was effective.
