Looking for small atv suggestions

I need a smaller cc , used, atv for my stables.
Primary use will be to drag the round pen and haul a small dump trailer with manure.
It'll be used by a little lady who I doubt has much experience on atvs. I want something small for maneuverability and I don't want something that will get away from her. Automatic would probably be a good thing.
Budget is pretty minimal. Anything out there I should be looking at? I've seen some Honda Recons that fit the bill but aren't auto and I don't really know much about them.

I bought a Yamaha Grizzly 125 for my daughter, it has neutral, forward, and reverse. Fun little bike and I’m a big guy, it handles me with ease. I’m sure it can handle light hauling unless you have big hills, then it might struggle. They don’t make them anymore, but fairly easy to find on Facebook marketplace.

The recon would fit the job pending the weight of the trailer and round pens. Rancher 420 with a solid rear axle may be better in 4wd if it can get wet. Both are smaller frames and a small woman could handle them fine. They can be had in foot shift or es but the rancher is offered in auto, too. The rancher auto is independent rear suspension only.

Yeah I'd go with a small Yammy. Easy controls and driveable.

I’d look for a used Rancher.
I’ve got a 2001 Fourtrax that I use around my farm for roading dogs and light chores. I think I bought it in 2004. Probably the best ATV purchase I ever made. Runs like a top.
Moving your round pen is probably your limiting factor. Depends on the size of your panels.
It won’t take the place of a larger unit, but for small chores it’s dependable.

Rancher 350, Big Bear 350, or recon or kawasaki bayou are all smaller easy to handle quads that can be picked up cheap right now. Not sure which ones came in auto or not.
I know ranchers have had e shift available a long time.

Honda Recon is a tough machine.

I have a 2000 450 Foreman I’ll sell you for $2500. Low miles and still has the original tires on it with plenty of tread left.

When I used to duck hunt, I bought myself a 2014 Honda Recon. For about 6 years I took that thing through flooded rice fields regularly, and we would ride two grown men and sometimes three depending on the morning on that lil summbitch to the blind. I put a front and rear basket so we had a lil more sitting room. Never had a single problem with it. Eventually I got out of the blind lease, but kept it for a couple more years before finally selling it because I just wasnt using it enough. I loved that thing. It was so light, that if it got stuck, I could just get off, and lift up the back end out of the problem, hop back on, and go. It was great!

I didn't realize they had auto ranchers, that may be the best choice.
Any experience with the automatics from Suzuki or kawasaki?

The newer ones, no. I wouldn’t recommend them although everyone has their own opinion.
