Folks will be here shortly to say:
He did nothing wrong
He has no reason to obey them because he wasn’t doing anything
He was actually obeying the officers anyway
What was he doing that was against the law

I hear what you saying but the cop did put his hands on him first. The cop did nothing to try to diffuse the situation prior to it becoming physical.

Shove a cop and they'll get aggressive.

Looks like he was walking away and another cop pushes him and got in his face. Thug cops escalated this as usual.

Why are you guys so damn dumb?
He is walking away from a confrontation.
He is not under arrest.
The cop comes up and cuts him off.
The cop then puts his hand on him
He blocks the hand
The cop the pushes him
He pushes the cop back
He is then jumped on and arrested
It is obvious the cop is in the wrong and this is going to blowback hard. You will of course cry about it.

He walked up to the cops because his vehicle was blocked in by them, a cop put his hands on Kerley first with a slight shovel/push away. Kerley then escalated the situation. However, the video of 4 cops on top of him punching him after they had tased him looks incredibly bad.

It is never going to end well when you get aggressive with police.
I know it’s hard for some folks, but do what you are told by authorities until things can be worked out.

Video caption should be "when two people on a power trip collide in public".

He served in the Olympics, the cops should’ve stopped what they were doing, and let him get his car.

I couldn’t tell from the video but did the chick with Kerley want to cops to stop or no?
Posted on 1/4/25 at 9:07 am to GeauxTigers123
Just think how out of hand this might have gotten if that chick hadn't been yelling STOP over and over and over and over again. She really helped things out a lot and should get some kind of citizen citation for public service.

Dude is surrounded. Do police think he was going to John Wick everybody surrounding him? I agree he should've let the situation play out, but police had all the power in the situation and didn't need to go through all this extra nonsense. They probably don't even know how weird Fred has been in the last 3 years of his sport.
