In my opinion, he has been the best player and the most consistent player(minus the playoffs)in last three years. Hate to trade the guy but him and heb are the only positive assets you have on the roster.

Absolutely f Willie in the face for taking him out and not letting him try for the career high. I hate you so

I was hoping CJ could get a shot up because he cut to the basket one time at the end and they didn’t see him. Then the other time DJM took the shot. Was hoping he’d have his career high, he was cooking out there.

At this point, I think you owe it to HIM to trade to a contender

Would be great if we could somehow trade CJ to a contender and get a late first for him.

tbf I think those are the only teams that would go for him. He’d be a fantastic 6th man for a championship team

Salary filler and a few 2nds or late 1st.

He's still going to contribute some high quality shooting years left, but you're not going to be as financially hampered with him as opposed to say klay imho

I’m sure this one 50 point game has every team calling us up for a trade, not the previous 752 games he’s played at a high level in the vast majority in.

Yea, no team is giving a 1st for him on that salary. $30m next year. Expirings and maybe one 2nd should be the expectation.

Pistons make the most sense as a team positioned to take him on. They're going for play-in/offs now, and just lost Ivey to injury for likely the whole season. CJ gives Cade the spacing to thrive, Langdon familiar with him and his 'veteran leadership.' Most importantly, they have the extra cap room, Hardaway Jr.'s expiring salary, and extra 2nds to throw in.

THJ, future 2nd(s) for McCullom. Pels duck the tax this season by a lot, clear CJ's salary from next year's books. Let THJ's contract expire or buy him out to sign with a playoff team. Could also include Fontecchio incoming or take on another player from a 3rd team.

A tax team I can see doing it to avoid worse tax implications by a guaranteed contract.

Detroit was the team I kept mentioning before ivey's injury as an Ingram destination, ivey being the centerpiece to move. Now it might be possible to do both Cj and Ingram

30m next year that’s also an expiring. It’s definitely possible
