Has the fishing in Slidell been good?

Anyone having success in Slidell lately? Thinking about taking the kiddos(13,9,7) out this weekend and looking for some guidance.

Have you ever fished LeFrances near Ansley? It’s the accessible side of the LA/MS coastal border…they should be stacked up in there.

Took my kids out on Lake P today. Bumped around for 2 hrs then bailed. Was bobbing like a cork out there in that wind

About a month ago it was the best fishing I’ve ever been a part of. Limited on big specks several times

You could fish the canals off of the lake in Slidell. Eden Isles area.
