I have been saddle hunting for about 7 years now and love it. One sticking change public and private land hunting for me. I hunt public land in Illinois end of oct beginning of Nov every year. When I go I set up 1 lock on stand and wildcat with my saddle and one stick. The lock on has been put in the same tree for the last 5 years and I move around with my one stick and saddle.

Flight instructor friend of mine who flies in and out of DWH texted me even the best pilots can't fly with enough fuel. Don't think he would make the comment without some intel.

Only took 6 post for someone to sh!t on your parade.

I have been waiting for 8 years now at our current place for the feeders to turn on and the deer come running.
The rumor mill has been turning its wheels about her connection to RS himself.
Really would be sad if that’s true with all the pervious administrations short comings. RS was suppose to be the hero.
We will have to wait until blood samples come back. He blew 0.0 at the jail and then St Tammany’s “finest” wanted to say it was pills.
He was let go during Christmas break after the 2001 season. He did not return start of 2002.

Well now that the king is back from being exciled in 2001 he wants his castle back. His way or the highway!

Baseball Coach at Shaw out!

Posted by Brmmga1 on 5/8/25 at 1:00 pm
Archbishop Shaw has announced that head baseball coach Chad Foret will be stepping down after three successful seasons. This follows recent changes in wrestling and basketball, showcasing a significant shift in our athletic leadership.
Very fine deer. Congrats!

My 2 cents.
I have a close friend who has a 2000 acre high fence in northeast Texas. He doesn’t have breeding pens. He has brought in some amazing genetics few years back and let Mother Nature take over from there. He runs a full service guide service and from the start of rifle season until the last day he is booked year or 2 out.
I get the privilege to go hunt for free for a weekend during bow season every year. I will tell you that it’s as easy as shooting fish in a barrel. Hunting from a tree or from the 5k insulated carpeted blinds with feeder 25 yards away. My group have free range of the whole place for the weekend as long as we don’t shoot a deer with an ear tag. All the purchased breeder bucks have tags nothing else has tags. There has been hunts I saw over 100 deer in a couple hour sit and some hunts didn’t see anything. It’s still fun hunting in my opinion.

That’s a hell of a deer at the end of the day and my motto is if you proud of it at the end of the day that’s all that matters.

Nice name! Bet with the weather the peasants won’t be out in their daddy’s boats.

Pike/Walthall county.
The last 5 hunts since the Sunday after thanksgiving I have seen some good numbers with a few bucks and yesterday between morning and evening sit saw 17. I run my cameras in video mode and had a video from 2 nights ago with a small buck chasing some does up and down the powerline.
