This was a great coaching job

Say what you want, but with two weeks to prepare with mostly underclass men playing, this coaching staff did great.
With the freshman coming in and the portal players, next year may be something special.

So OP can't acknowledge a good job by the staff. The amount of money they make is irrelevant to the sentiment. Some of you just gotta be an a-hole at all costs. Happy new year sunshine

You seem like a real bitch.

LSU had most of their starters and several backups that played a lot during season - we had way more talent than Baylor and fricked around most of the game - congratulations I guess. Money is not irrelevant. My word you people are idiots.

We played a ton of freshman & redshirt freshman on the offensive line & across the board on defense. Talent doesn't mean squat when young guys are slow to react because they are unfamiliar with their assignments. Reps & experience matters. It's why year after year you see upperclassmen heavy teams win the Natty.

Not defense, not for the entire game.

Why are so many here obsessed with coaching salaries?

We had our QB, top 2 RB, 2 starters at WR and other WR played a whole lot, Green played a lot during season at TE, starting C and Miles Frazier, Mubenga played a lot at end, Bordelon played throughout year. Adams has been praised as being really good and played some. OL has 3 guys who were playing last 3/4 games of year as starters. Defense had almost all starters expect at safety and Gilbert played a lot. Special teams lost no one. Falacy. We had our players and were better at WR than before.

Honestly, a few more plays made make this game a total blowout. The defense gave up a ton of yards but alot of it was on quick slants. Baylor was just moving at will on slants, and you could tell LSU was fine with it, they just didn't want to play underneath coverage and get busted for massive plays.

Why are so many worried about players being paid now and then claiming they can’t be criticized?

I've personally only heard the opposite.

Idk maybe because the job you do might be tied to your pay - if I pay a guy $5 to cut my yard or $200, I might have a different expectation between the 2. My word.

Are you personally paying the coach's salaries?

BS - Jones, Piaz, Swinson, Shand, Penn, Gilbert and Alexander are sophomores or redshirt freshman? Lmao Chester started all year. Mubenga started last 3/4 games, Frazier started all year. Hilton and Anderson were starters. Thomas was 1B. Williams and Durham were 1A and 1B and Nuss started all game. That LSU had to juggle their whole roster and play players that hadn’t played all year is bullshite. Who’s fault is it that all your OL are freshman or RS freshman? No one bitched when Campbell and Jones started as true freshman on SEC West champs. You have 3 starters on OL for 4 games at end of season who played together.

Yes as a resident of Louisiana and a season ticket holder - I am. Let me get this right - you can’t complain about someone you don’t pay their salary? LMAO. I guess I can’t complain when D. Carr throws a pick six bc I don't pay his salary. My word.
