Does anyone still play them? My uncle gifted me a set 5 years ago. I’m just getting into golf again because my son loves to play. They could use new grips but otherwise they play flawlessly to me anyway . They sat unused for years in a barn so they’re lightly used. Thank you for any feedback

Arguably the most game changing iron ever built. Still have my Beryllium Copper set. And they are flawless. I may break them out in 2025.

I have a set of the beryllium Eye2 1-LW that I played up until three years ago. Went the PXG route and it was a huge difference in my game. Still have the Eye2's.

Played the Eye 2s when I first started and my dad played a set up until a few years ago. Truly a phenomenonal set of clubs.

I shot some great rounds with the Eye 2 irons.

Mine are not the beryllium but the standard model. Thank you. I like them , will just re-grip them and keep playing them ok

They'll be more than fine if you're just getting into golf. Iron and shaft technology has progressed a pretty good bit since the eye2 so when you get to the point when you want to upgrade, there will be some clubs that will be better, but for now you're going to be fine with those. Only thing that might hurt you is it not being the flex shafts.

Thanks. anyone use the Jumbomax grips? My hands are quite Neanderthal so I wear size XL gloves. I was thinking of trying these. Opinions please?

They work pretty well for Bryson

I got nothing, although I do plan to switch to larger grips when it’s time to replace mine.

I’ve heard we possible could all benefit from larger grips.
I use mid size.
I Wear a size large glove.

In played with a guy yesterday at The Judge who was using them. First time I’ve seen a set of them on the course in years.

I still play with mine. I’ve had the set for 37 years. They do the job, but I don’t play that much.

Still playing mine 30 years after buying them new. May want to reshaft them although I have only replaced broken shafts. Keep in mind that a modern club 8 iron is the equivalent of a 7 iron of older clubs. A modern 8 iron is a 1960’s 6 iron. It’s like clothing, mfg’s adjusted length and loft to make you think you hit it farther.
