Just stop and admit that he had an awful season?

Please? He had some flashes of good, but no amount of good can erase the game-changing interceptions that happened on an all too frequent basis.

No amount of statistical evidence: ratings, yards, TDs or otherwise can change that he put LSU in bad positions in almost every game he played.

No amount of Freshman excuses can be issued either.

Stop taking up for him. Stop comparing him to JJ. It was a bad year. Hopefully he comes back and does better.

Can you list the name of posters saying he didn't have a bad year?

Can the Jarrett Lee bashers just stop and admit that he was in a terrible position with a shitfest on defense knowing that he had to score in the 30s every single game to even have a shot at winning, and that the offensive playcalling continued to force him to make throws that he obviously was not capable of executing?

no. and furthermore, blaming the defense for jarrett lee's mistakes is flat out retarded.

That's all fine and good, but will you make a similar post the next time the inevitable group of posters make one about how bad/awful/waste of scholarship he is and tell them to stop ?

Negative posts about LSU players here outweigh positive ones.

i dont understand why you want to come on here and start bashing an inexperienced qb for having a bad year in the sec. he was just a rs freshemen so he will have time to get better. i dont understand why you have to tear him apart and get mad at someone that takes up for him.

no amount of freshman excuses can be issued to excuse the fact that he had an awful season, LE.

not that he's a terrible player.

I take it you're not related to Joe Friday. Just the facts, ma'am.

I'm not bashing him, bud.
The facts are there plain as day. That's the problem with the knights.
An objective assessment of Jarrett Lee's performance is seen as bashing. It was an awful season. Even for a freshman quarterback.
Calling it awful is the same as calling a red door red. I'm not saying he's a bad kid. I'm not even saying he's a bad quarterback. I'm saying his play last year was awful.

certain statistics could paint Aaron Brooks as one of the most successful quarterbacks in Saints history.

Case in point.

We need JL as a back up QB he did play well for a Frshman minus the 7 pic sixes. QBs get hurt in the SEC, last year Lee twice, Hatch twice, and JJ hurt his shoulder early and was out 3-4 weeks (Miles didn't tell us). Shep runs a lot and could get hurt also.

absolutely. we need him. he should stay and provide depth, competition and experience to the position.

calling his performance last year as awful doesn't change that.

I'm not blaming the D for his problems. But can you not comprehend how the play of one can have an effect on the play of another?

And I noticed you didn't respond to the comment about the offensive playcalling continually putting him in a position to execute plays that everyone knew that he couldn't.
