The two worst Presidents in my lifetime with their wives. Weird pic though -

Yeah wtf was that? Who doctored that photo? And why?

The Carters look like a couple of elves

How is this not about the Attack of the Swamp Bunny?

The Bidens are either 10 feet tall or the Carters 2 feet tall or that is some sort of photoshopped/AI generatated nightmare.

The 'explanation' was that
- the Carters are old, thus very diminished in stature
- both were sunk down in their chairs
- The lens used distorts objects towards the edges, making them appear larger.
But yeah, the optics doesn't seem legit.

Nope. It was released by the Bidens. It's real.

Both Carters probably had osteoporosis, which causes you to shrink an inch or two, plus Carter was shorter than the average president while Biden is relatively tall.
But there has to be some sort of lensing effect going on. Perhaps Rosalyn was deeper in frame compared to Joe, and this distorted the proportions between the two.

Carter wasn’t a great president, but it is funny to watch conservatives who hold Reagan up as a demigod bash him.
Carter grew the federal debt by 43%. In itself disgusting.
Reagan grew the federal debt by 186%
Bush by 54%
W Bush by 105%
How bad was Woodrow Wilson? The worst of all time on so many levels. He grew the national debt by 700%
If you take out trumps awful covid stimulus spending he grew it by roughly 17%. That spending truly tarnished his first administration. Outside of that it was the best administration of my lifetime.
I’ll never forget Thomas Massie standing on an island taking fire from every angle while opposing that spending.
Harding/Silent Cal (best presidents of all time): 30% reduction in the national debt.

This photo just reminds me of how horrible a president Biden was, from start to finish. And makes me thankful that we didn’t allow them to install his Cacklehoe.

Joe is clearly to the forefront of Rosalynn, but Jill is right alongside with Jimmy, checking her position relative to the chair.
But even worse is that very outdated decor. The Carters appear like museum exhibit pieces, more than live humans in the 21st century.

I guess as a 70s kid, I kinda like the decor.
He had a nice cellar though.

Yeah, the first time we saw this pic, I thought Rosalynn Carter was a ventriloquist dummy being held by Joe.

Carter was a horrible president and not really as great a person as people make him out to be - he never once tried to really own any of his awfulness or that which his party continued to ceaselessly push.
That being said, he and his wife were really the last presidential couple to simply retire to a modestly comfortable setting after his Presidency - especially within his party, where all these other former “public servants” seem to be living out their retirement years like billionaire moguls somehow.

Hostages, Abortion, Inflation, Energy crisis, Panama canal, etc... Carter sucked big time.
That's why in 1980 after four years of inability and stagnation Carter got plowed in a landslide with Reagan receiving 489 Electoral College votes to Carter's 49, or 50.7% of the popular vote to Carter's 41.0%.
Four years later in 1984 Carter's VP got shellacked when Reagan received 525 electoral votes compared to Mondale's pitiful showing of 13 %.
In 1988 Reagan's VP George HW Bush tore another lib loon named Michael Dukakis a new arse in that election with electoral votes totaling Bush's 426 to Dukakis's 111.
Ranaldus Magnus built a solid and functioning political environment for Republicans and the nation federal debt be damned.
