Heading to the bowl game coming up soon. Looking for best places to drink with some fellow fans before the game.

Pregaming at Shay McElroys downtown and then hopping on the light rail to NRG.
A lot of people park downtown and catch the light rail to NRG for the Houston Rodeo.

We just moved to The Woodlands from Nashville and there is a Kirby’s here. If it’s anything like the one here then this is the appropriate choice!

20th St. has a great strip of bars. Drift was the LSU watch party spot last year before it moved to Kirby’s Ice house.
Can easily walk between 6-8 bars on this strip. Most have indoor/outdoor combos if weather is good.

As others have said, you will have to either take the light rail or drive as the location of NRG is terrible and there are no real bars in walking distance.
