What are some can’t misses that may fly under the radar?

Kuli'ou'ou Ridge Trail. It's a beast but well worth it.

And if you do Kualoa Ranch (Jurassic Park), do the Mountain Bike or Horseback. The ATV'S are a guided tour and you breath dust the whole tour.

Tantalus lookout is really cool too. Go about an hour before sunset.

Take a drive over to Sandy Beach beautiful drive along the coast with amazing views and head over to the North Shore. Surf should be up. Just rent a car and drive around the island it's beautiful and get out of Honolulu. Lots of traffic and too many people.

We really liked Waimea falls. We were able to swim to the falls and got some great pictures. It’s about a mile walk to the falls through beautiful gardens.

The Zoo, check it out. Also stopping along the road to the North Shore and trying various food vendors/fruit sellers. I'd also recommend getting out of the tourist area to hit the beach as they see much nicer else where.

I'd also recommend this underwater event where you essentially go as a scuba diver. Was extremely cool and saw some fish I would only see in the aquarium.

Pali Puka is my favorite hike, it's short and steep and fairly dangerous though

Lanikai Pill Box hike in Kailua is an easy hike with great views of the Mokes

Lanikai beach is my favorite beach

Renting a boat in Kaneohe Bay is fun
