This = 'Don't let Nissan, Honda, Mitsubishi merge.'

This confirms for me that companies only follow the social & political winds because it’s profitable.
The current admin wants LGBTQ and DEI initiatives.. then the companies follow suit as to not get punished and lose profits.
Trump now threatens tariffs and now all that social push goes out the window.
I just wish companies would grow spines and stick to their business rather than play in social and political games.

If this was happening with a Democrat we'd all be screaming 'payoff' 'bribe' etc. Trump should refuse this money. And why does anyone need money for their "inauguration fund"? All you need is a SCOTUS justice and a bible.

The potential for tariffs scare the shite out of other countries and their multinational corporations.

Toyota just announced they’re bringing back the FJ cruiser with a V6!!!
This NEVER happens if Kamala is president. Guarantee Ram brings back a V8 for their trucks and cars soon too.
Thank 9 pound 8 ounce sweet baby Jesus for Donald J Trump.
So much winning already and he hasn’t even been inaugurated!!

As a consumer, I want the old Nissan back. A truck/SUV platform as reliable as Toyota, at 10-15% less.
Nissan was once a great brand that had trucks and vehicles all over the harshest terrains, but once the fricking French get involved in anything, but 3specailly cars, you're screwed.
I'll take an all-Japanese conglomerate all day long

I only buy Japanese cars. But mergers always increase price because they don't have to deal with competitors.

This is true. Trump and DOGE should have suggested it. It would say a lot about how Trump plans to govern.

Might need some extra security since 100s of people online have called for his assassination at the event.

DOGE is about cutting the spending of the federal government. These are private donations. Trump turned down the taxpayers' money for his transition team. This refusal to use tax funds could indicate how Trump plans to govern.

Toyota has a huge plant near Georgetown, KY. They make the Camry, Avalon, Lexus and RAV 4 and Lexus hybrids there.
