Who will be our 4th WR for the bowl game?

AA, Hilton,Zavion, Jelani Watkins/ Billiot?
We will probably have to line up more in 4 WR sets because of TE depth for the bowl game.

It’s just to the point where these games are so pointless. This is the roster for one game. It’s after all of the players leave and before the new ones come. It’s just so fricking pointless.

Use everybody. Doesn't matter if we win or lose. Hell run Hurley out there for a few series. It's a pointless game. Use it to get players some gametime experience.

This is why you go to 16 or 24 playoff teams and do away with bowls. You’re either playing a meaningful game or you’re not playing. No other level of football college or pro or any other sport does this. Play for.something in the post season or don’t play. Stop this circus.

I'm looking forward to seeing some of the younger players getting on the field. Want to see what the younger wrs can do, how the online will play, hopefully we see Hurley play, looking forward to seeing toviano at safety.

There are a few things going on - these bowls aren’t pointless from a practice perspective. They are not pointless from a development perspective. We should hope to get a look at some young guys in game situations that may not have normally played. See if they can cut it or not. Be a springboard for them stepping up next year.
From a competitive or spectator perspective, yea many of these bowls are pointless. I wouldn’t pay to travel to one. Some of these bowls were already struggling for attendance etc before now and I would expect some shifting landscape over the next few years where maybe some don’t make it.

Da prophet: I never used to feel that way and I joy watching good games but you have a valid point.
I don’t think expanding further is the answer so I guess that is what they will do. They could have a “NIT” bracket of 12 for football?

play everyone of the team. Everyone that practices should get the experience of playing for LSU in a meaningless bowl game.
The winner or loser of this game means NUTHIN
Give the players a reward and get film on effort and abilities of potential starters in LSU future.
This should be treated like an NFL preseason game.
