The londoner currently charges $9 / pint for Guiness. Thought that was a bit steep. Thanks Biden.

Wait until the Trump tariffs take effect. It'll be $18/pint. Drink up while you can.

O'Hara's (formerly Happy's) might be the best place

I'd bet almost any legit Irish bar would pour you a great pint of Guinness.

First thing I learned watching an Irish gal at Finn McCools in N.O. on Banks St. is the pint glass needs to be room temperature.

Next, the first pour is only about 3/4 glass and they let it settle, then the next pour to top it off and settle a bit again before serving.

If I go to a bar that grabs a pint out the freezer and pours it full straight away, I'm not ordering a Guinness.

I love a good pint of Guinness now-------but the first time I tried it was at an Irish bar in the French Quarter called "The Irish Harp" during a dart tournament I was in.

Couldn't drink the stuff and found it bitter and nasty. I eventually developed a taste after a few tries and it's one of my favorites now. it's a damn meal in a glass as heavy as it is.

I sat with an Irishman at Finn McCools one afternoon and downed 10 of them before heading out the door and the Irishman's last words to me were "Enjoy the black shites" and he was right. Next day I was basically crapping Guinness for a couple hours.

I enjoy a good Guinness, but were can I find Murphy's? I haven't found it on the shelf in years.
