Records alone should not be the criterion, college football teams don't play the same schedule.

You’re right. I mean, SMU lost by 28 points to the #6 team in the country.

Replace them with a team that lost by 21 to a 6-6 team!!!

This is what you get with too many teams but these are the teams that earned their way. It never was and never will be perfect.

How you play in your conference should matter.

If it doesn’t then what the frick is the point of a regular season if we are just autobidding 5-6 SEC teams every year?
