Was supposed to leave phx at 1:30. Delayed for a maintenance issue that ultimately was determine to be unfixable after everyone boarded. Deplaned and went to another gate with plane waiting. Lo and behold this plan has a maintenance issues as well. Being sitting at the new gate for two hours

What a fricked up shitty arse airline.

Maybe… but it might also be Boeing’s fault

I don’t think companies are so concerned with customer satisfaction like they used to. People will need to quit flying them and they will get the message, maybe.

It’s obvious they don’t. The last behind the counter is useless. She doesn’t know if the sun is shining outside.

The thread about them on the travel board agrees with you. AA must really suck.

If it makes you feel any better it's not just AA. This happens to me on United like once a month.

Probably a pilot issue that they are passing off as maintenance.

Why not start things off right and just go ahead and post a few pics of the wife? We’re all thinking it (except the gay ones) and you’ll get a lot more sympathy, really, either way she looks. It’s a win-win.

As the aircraft maintenance professional I will give you the old saying "it is better to be down here wishing you up there, than up there wishing you were down here."

Probably better at your gate than 30k feet in the air.

Sorry to hear your plans got a little messed up, Karen.

you should be glad AA is competent enough to spot mechanical issues and not put you on a potentially dangerous plane.

it’s bad luck, but it’s life. find the zen, relax and make a new plan it’s all you can do

EABD Karen. The point is it a shitty airline with terrible customer service. There is no way they are that incompetent to send passengers from one broken plane to another.

I’ve been there, and I know the frustration well…

Just try to remember how lucky you are to live in a time when flying is even an option. Focus on gratitude for those things you do have, it’ll always serve you better than focusing on bitterness for those things you don’t.

Well we just boarded the new plane and the “new captain” stated the old flight crew timed out. There was never a maintenance issue with any plane, but rather pilot issues.

Pilot and crew can time out if there are long delays.

No pilots, no flying.

Friend used to schedule flight crews.
