Considering he is a 5 star cornerback with offers from big SEC programs, I thought it might be newsworthy.

I like updates on all SEC recruiting, but I think that's why they have the SEC board, so that can be discussed there.

This is your one shot...If it doesn't happen in 2009, it will never happen

I'm glad you've let Ole Miss nation know this. I'll report this to Nutt and we'll go ahead and discontinue football at Ole Miss after 2009. It's clear that Bobby Petrino is about to light the SEC on fire...

By the way, do you mind passing over whatever you're lighting up

Suga, it's obvious you hate Ole Miss. I understand. What are you basing this from? Our talent level? Do you want a player by player comparison from the previous recruiting classes?

You're making these statements without backing anything up.

Here's a hasty assumption on my part: You don't know what you're talking about. You clearly don't like Nutt or Ole Miss and you're talking out your @ss

You got 17 posts...This has been a year long topic...Also, Take it to the SEC Rant...

I don't hate Nutt or Ole Miss...I think both are pretenders but that IMO

Nutt walked into a team full of talent in a year where AU, LSU and Arky had down years in the West...The OM 2009 team will look similar to Arky 2007 with a better QB and not as good RB's...

You've known HN for 13 games...I've endured him for 10 years....He didn't wake up one day and become Einstein and losing Rocker is not going to help...

Suga

The irony and ignorance of your post has me on the floor.

Coach Nutt is a pretender...
Arkansas is having a down year...

If Coach Nutt is this pretender, then is Arkansas truly even relevant? Can you actually put Arkansas in the same sentence as Auburn and LSU considering Coach Nutt was the man who steered the Hogs for the last ten seasons.

You tell me. You're apparently the man with all the facts, haha.

I'm up to over 20 posts and it hasn't taken long for me to decide that the majority of your posts aren't worth the read.

Have a good day

Why do you two think any of us give a rats arse about your little pissing match? Lets see if you can sustain...or regular Ole Miss one year wonder.

I can tell you this. Everyone thought it was difficult to recruit at Arkansas when Nutt was there because he was never able to consistently pull in highly rated classes. Coming off a losing season, Petrino has Arkansas a top 20 class right now. Last I checked, Ole Miss was hanging out at 45 on Rivals, putting you guys below Auburn, Kentucky, Arkansas and State at 11th in the SEC. This coming off a 9 win season. You are almost out of schollys as well. I would be a little worried past next year if I were you.

Scout.com: Arkansas is 21st and about to receive a decommitment from their sole 5 star recruit. Ole Miss is 29th and all signs point to Ole Miss finishing strong and receiving possible commitments from Raymond Cotton, Pat Patterson, Marlon Brown, Kendrick Hardy, Tig Barksdale, Bobby Massie, and Lamar Scruggs. Arkansas' class won't touch our class.

But by all means, I would much rather you think we are on our way to bottom of the barrel. Will make the win against you in Oxford that much sweeter.

Other than Brown, who you won't get

Everyone I spoke to today after my post about Brown said Ole Miss is a placeholder visit to fill the date he originally intended to visit us. UGA, OSU, and UT were all in on him before and have a foothold. Ole Miss is making a nice run, but has a lot of ground to make up, and will ultimately fall short.

I similarly enjoy that you guys think you're back. When you consider that there is a 1 win difference between our worst season in a decade and your second best, I like our odds that universe returns to normal starting next season thanks to an upgrade at qb and a new defensive staff.

9 wins vs. 5 wins. You should be in the top 25 in recruiting.

So we have to listen to Ol' Miss talk smack on the LSU recruiting board? One decent year--and you still don't win a title, mind you--and you talk like this about a program with two nat'l titles this decade and the nation's present #1 recruiting class. It's like fighting with my little brother.

I don't know who you spoke to that thinks Tennessee and OSU are still in it but you're speaking to the wrong people. I'm not making this all up but think what you'd like.

I could say that we have a shot at Reuben Randle but I know we don't.

Difference between my statements and yours is that mine have legitimate sources. You just like rationalize your own opinions.

Considering that I went to Harding from Kindergarten through 12th Grade and still and know teachers there and people on staff, I would disagree about my level of ignorance. I graduated with the current athletic director. I didn't hear from him, mind you, but I have sources of my own. Do you know anyone at Harding?

I hate Ole Miss as much or more than the next LSU fan, but I have to give you that one. There is not a more ridiculous mascot in D1 sports. And don't even get me started on Whoo Pig Soohey.
