Kirk Cousins: Should We?

He probably would be really cheap, and if a fresh start allows him to become what he was in Washington or Minnesota we could hit the jackpot.
Low risk with potentially high reward in my opinion

I think Terry Fontenot and Arthur Blank would LOVE to make a deal with the Saints that sends Cousins over in exchange for taking over the lion's share of the cost of that contract.
Falcs would love for that to happen.

Yeah. This is assuming that the Falcons will take the hits. If that can’t happen, then this won’t work.

Can we somehow get rid of Carr’s money and Cousins money in the process?

How many fresh starts does he need to realize he sucks arse? He just had a fresh start and is having his worst career season.

Have to consider that maybe he is washed.
He is older and came off a major injury. Has not improved throughout the season and may have declined.

Might as well just keep Carr if you are doing that.

Explain to the board what the net savings would be if we cut Carr and managed to sign Cousins for the league minimum.

Not even good enough to start for Atlanta... but I'm sure he's just what the Saints need

Cousins is maybe a tad better than Carr, so, it's a no go for me. But I think the Rattler kid will be good, the kid can sling it. He has a major league arm, he just needs experience and that will come the more he plays. I didn't wanna see Carr come back soon, no need to because Rattler played good in the second half and almost led them to a win.

Cousins was benched because he can’t throw the ball down field. Why would you want that?
