That’s cool but you had damn near the best punter in the country right up the road at McNeese. I’d hope they at least tried to get him.

You have our punters stats as a comparison?

Fewer yards and average for Chadwick (46.1 vs 43.4), but he did have a significantly higher percentage inside 20 (41% vs 31%).

This list had this qualification:

Can we get a new Holer to replace Todd?

Averages aren't horrible, it was the consistency and untimeliness of the bad ones.
Todd: 41.6
Oschendorf: 40.2

True also I think Lappin only has a year so maybe that played a part as well.

We definitely needed help at punter, but I hope he never gets to see the field.

Punt % downed inside 20 yard line:
Chadwick: 40.4%
Which, in the data set I looked at in link below, was 12th in the country.

I used ESPN and the lowest number of punts on the list was 30
He's better than what we have and I don't know how punts inside the 20 differential plays out between the different punters.
The bad thing is that Ochsendorf had a 45.7 avg before coming to LSU and averaged 40.2 here. Todd was supposed to be a weapon coming out of HS and has been wildly erratic.
